Prayer March and Praise in Blackpool

Many of us have been stirred by the events in the last month and felt the church should make an urgent response. We want to bring hope, peace and joy to the streets of Blackpool.

Join us for a prayer march from the promenade to Stanley Park and be part of changing the atmosphere over the town.

Prayer, proclaim and praise to be a presence in Blackpool.

PROGRAMME

11am - Prayer Clusters on the Comedy Carpet - join in with small groups spread across the Comedy Carpet as we pray together in unity for Blackpool.

11.15am - Walk to St John's Square via Church Street

11.30am - A time of Prayer in the centre of

Blackpool led by leaders across Blackpool

Midday - Walk or drive towards Stanley Park bandstand (together or on your own)

1pm - HOPE @ The Park - an afternoon of worship, testimony and praying from the centre of the park on Bank Holiday Saturday.

Bring whatever you feel will bless the town as you walk. Banners, tracts, flowers, sweets - even the crosses that remain in our churches from 'Take Up Your Cross'. Help make an urgent response to bring peace to streets that saw chaos a few weeks ago. Join in the celebrations at Stanley Park later on and help us declare 'Shine, Jesus, Shine' over this town.
