Prayer Up The Tower - April

Join Christians from across the Fylde Coast with prayers that are:

• Strategic – we get a unique view over the whole of Blackpool when we are up the tower, and we can see areas that need the presence and power of God. When we pray, we pray for areas to be changed and transformed and for the kingdom of God to reign in Blackpool.
• Authoritative – when we pray, we must remember that God has given us authority to speak Jesus’ name over the area and then, we see his kingdom come. As we look over Blackpool, we begin to pray in our God-given authority in expectation and anticipation of what God is going to do.
• Sensitive – when we arrive at the top of the tower, we can be aware of members of the public around us, as well as members of staff. When we pray, we must be sensitive to the people around us, remembering that as we go to the top of the tower, Christ is in us. Just our presence there can change the atmosphere of the area.

Arrive at 10am on the promenade outside the dungeon. We travel up in the lift together, pray together on the lower level near the glass floor and then, we pray at the top. It normally lasts for ninety minutes.
