Retreat to Refresh

We are delighted to welcome you to a rtreat at the Refresh Centre in Blackpool and to share in weekend of fellowship in Blackpool.   During the weekend, there will be free time to look around Blackpool, regular times of reflection, worship and prayer and social time. You may not want to paddle (!), but you will definitely get refreshed!    You have full board accommodation for three nights, all food and teaching material.

The programme looks like as follows:

Friday

Arrivals from midday – feel free to come when you are ready and meet Simon and Laura at the centre. There will be an evening meal and an evening session of getting to know you.

Saturday

After breakfast and morning devotions, Simon will lead a prayer walk down the promenade where you will see some of the main sites in Blackpool and hopefully walk on the beach. After lunch in the centre of Blackpool, there is an option to take a trip on the tram and see some of the sights or take part in more reflections. After an evening meal, we will spend time in worship and personal prayer.

Sunday

Breakfast will be more leisurely, but we plan to spend time with a local church in the area. Afer lunch, we will lead some reflections before being sent on our way refreshed!
