Last week, I was very excited to run sub-23 minutes for the first time at a Parkrun and knocking off half a minute off my outdoor PB.
This morning, Laura and I are away for a short break and I managed to get to Morecambe for their promenade parkrun.
It was a bit windy, but I felt good and amazingly, came through the finish at 21 minutes 59, my first sub-22 run outside. I came 20th out of 190. That was 35 seconds quicker than last week! Time to revise targets as I hoped to do that at some point next year.
It was tough but suffering leads to perseverance, which builds character and focused on hope in Jesus. We keep pressing on… thanks for the encouragement.
