Running in Media City Manchester

A great event in Manchester tonight for the Chase the Sun at MediaCity, running a route that took in the BBC, ITV and other sites around Salford Quays.

It was well organised by Runthrough and roughly about 500 people were taking part and volunteering across two distances.

I managed to complete the 5k in 23m33 to finish 18th which was a great result, and all good ahead of next week’s kidney review. It’s been hard completing these as my muscles are not young (!), but praying all the running will help bring positive news.

Thanks to those who are sending encouragement and praying too! It means a lot.
